Southfield Lakers AAU Basketball believes when given the right tools to develop their skills, young men can succeed in the game of life with the first step being basketball. With guidance and proper training, our youth can develop the skills to develop self confidence, be functionally competitive, and be goal oriented future focused young men.

Our objective is to encourage responsible corporate, civic organizations, and individuals to participate in the mentoring and empower of young men and their families to strengthen and unify communities.
